Cynthia Breazeal explores the fact there aren’t many robots in our home and how she is going about solving that problem! Her theory is that in the past “robots had been about interacting with things, not with people.”

BlaXen.dk use to be hosted outside my server farm, but it has now returned to the Hood 
I finally managed to set-up my own Linux Hosting environment – and it were actually real easy to do !
I started out wanting to use the system from www.parallels.com called a Plesk Server, I am quite familiar with this system, as we use it were I work – No it is not running the The Just-Eat site, but some smaller sites.
This I found it to be much to expensive… I do not need a fully Business Enterprise environment..
Anyway I ended up looking into a system called EHCP, it is a Free Linux system.
This is running on a Linux Debian Server, and has almost the same capabilities as the Parallels system, but it is Without any COST
( I Do like the No COST Thingy )
– And Free…

All in all I now have a complete Hosting system for all kinda php sites – Jomala, WordPress, Drupal… and and and it is all installed easily via a web plug in…

Salget af pizza margarita er steget med 22 procent hos take-away kæden Just-Eat, viser 24timers undersøgelse. Andre populære børneretterNår mor, far og børn sætter sig til bords, er maden i stigende grad bestilt udefra.
Take-away-kæderne Just-Eat, E-Takeaway og Room Service melder alle om et større salg af børnemenuer og flere børnefamilier blandt kunderne.
Hos E-Takeaway er salget af børnemenuer mere end firdoblet siden 2008, og hos Just-Eat har man haft en stigning på mellem 22 og 139 procent i salget af de mest populære børnemenuer det seneste år. Det skriver 24timer.
Og tendensen er klar, vurderer livsstilsekspert og fremtidsforsker Birthe Linddal.
Kvalitetstid fremfor hjemmelavet mad
“Det er et fænomen, der vokser kraftigt, især i de større byer, hvor der er nogle lødige og gode alternativer at vælge imellem. De børnefamilier, der står for stigningen, er de moderne, vellønnede familier, og de vælger typisk at købe noget sundt hverdagsmad,” siger Birthe Linddal og tilføjer, at årsagen er, at især børnefamilierne har en travl hverdag.
“Det er ikke, fordi vi ikke kan lide at lave mad. Men i hverdagen har vi simpelthen ikke tiden, og så vil vi gerne have kvalitetstid med vores børn i stedet for at stresse rundt. Så tænker man, at hvis man bare lige kan ringe efter noget, så har man en time, hvor man kan snakke med sine børn og lægge puslespil med dem og måske oven i købet få tid til at se sig selv i spejlet,” siger hun til 24timer.
Ældre forældre skal nå det hele
Den nemme løsning med take-away handler ifølge Birthe Linddal også om forældrenes livsstil.
“Folk er ældre i dag, når de får børn, så de er vant til en række friheder. De har en forestilling om, at der er meget, de skal nå ud over at gå på arbejde. Så skal de lige have lagt noget træning ind, ud med deres veninder og børnene skal gå til gymnastik,” siger Birthe Linddal.
Take-away-tendensen har gennem flere år vokset sig stor i England og USA og vil i fremtiden vokse i Danmark, mener Birthe Linddal.

Just-Eat, a Danish originated, world’s largest online takeaway ordering service has expanded to South America through a partnership with RestauranteWeb. The partnership in practice means that Restaurante Web will become part of the Just-Eat Group. The partnership will give Just-Eat a pool of over 1000 restaurants in Brazil initially.
RestauranteWeb was founded in 2004 by Luiz Jares and Marco Corradini. Jares commented “We’ve always known the huge potential online takeaway has in Brazil, and as the leading provider of food ordering services we are in a prime position to capitalise. Being part of the Just-Eat Group means that we will be able to offer both existing and new restaurant partners an enhanced service that will allow them to serve more customers than ever before.”
Klaus Nyengaard, CEO Just-Eat Group, said “Brazil’s economy is booming, and e-commerce is playing a major part in that growth. We’ve chosen to partner with the leading local player because it means that we can tap into their on-the-ground knowledge whilst providing our expertise and technology know how, built up over the last few years as the industry leader.”
“By merging the two companies and consolidating a strong management team, we are building a market leading organisation that shows our commitment to the region. This isn’t a quick fix, but a long term strategy to tap into the huge potential of e-commerce in Brazil’s takeaway industry.”
Former Google and MySpace executive Emerson Calegaretti will lead Just-Eat Brazil as Managing Director. The deal means that Just-Eat now operates in 16 countries across four continents, working with over 20,000 restaurants taking the orders of over 5 million customers each month. It recently secured investment of $48 million from venture capitalists IndexVentures, Greylock Partners and Redpoint Ventures. We also interviewed Klaus Nyengaard a while back in an audio podcast.

Okay Guys – I just installed Mac OS Lion, and it is Sweet – 3 finger swipe, and a bunch of other cool stuff… Thumbs up Gates…ups Jobs…
Just wish them damn Microsoft would copy this way of updating the OS, and adapt Apples Price policy… No wonder so many people are using torrents and other ways of installing a “free” Microsoft OS.
Damit – new bad things would happen when Microsoft took over Skype – normaly skype just works, but now it has shut down 4 time in one week… Not Good enough MS – as we say in danish “Det er en ommer !!!”
